Practical Information
How to get there:
From R715 (Sundet in Osen) follow the signpost to Sandviksberget (2km). From Sandviksberget you travel by passenger boat to Skjærvøya/Yttervåg (25 min). The boat runs 2-4 times a day. On Fridays and Sundays the boat also runs from Bessaker pier (Roan). For time tables, go to atb.no (The information from is only available in Norwegian. We will inform you about the up to date time table if necessary).
A safe parking area is available free of charge at Sandviksberget.
Buses run daily to/from Sandviksberget to/from Trondheim/Steinkjer/Namsos and weekends also from Trondheim to Bessaker on Friday and opposite direction on Sunday.
The nearest grocery stores are at Sandviksberget and at Bessaker. If you order with us at least one day in advance, we will make sure that your groceries are at the guest house on your arrival.
